Born in 1973 and raised in Nelson, New Zealand within an artistic family, Adams artistic ability and perception was apparent from a very young age. When an opportunity arose Adam applied his flair to the family business that specialised in metal craft, wrought iron and light engineering where he discovered his aptitude with metal. While his trade was learned and his skills were honed, a preference for steel as a medium was found for both its strength and permanence. Now with his own business and 30 years of experience in the trade, the challenge and desire to improve technique and learn new skills is a continual process both within the art and sculpture field and the creation of practical everyday products. With sculpture, metal art and metal products having been sold both nationally and internationally including many exhibitions and private commissions, Adams artistic flair and attention to style and detail can often be seen in the everyday products he creates while much of his artwork has a sway towards fantasy with the hope that his work will stimulate the imagination in us all.
With a consistent demand for various works Adam finds himself on an evolving journey with an ambition to master his craft and provide service with integrity and products that embody excellence.
